# finlight

> Real-time financial and geopolitical news API with sentiment scoring, WebSocket streaming, and NLP tools. Built for trading, analytics, and risk intelligence.

finlight delivers structured, enriched news data over a REST API, webhooks, and a WebSocket stream. Articles arrive with full content, source metadata, and sentiment scoring, and can be filtered with a query language covering tickers, exchanges, sources, and topics. An MCP server is available so AI agents can query finlight news directly.

The API is documented at docs.finlight.me. API keys are issued from the dashboard at app.finlight.me.
